Celebrations Child Care

Philosophy

It is the goal of Celebrations to give your child the opportunity to experience high quality, Christian educational care. Each child is treated with respect and love, and is offered a positive learning environment. Developmentally appropriate activities will provide opportunity for growth in cognitive, language, small and large motor, social, emotional, and self-help skills. Children attend Bible time that is geared toward teaching basic Bible truths. Your questions, comments, and input are always welcome.

Children We Serve

We provide care for children 6 weeks to 12 years old.  We offer preschool and prekindergarten, child care, and before and after school care.  We transport to Sugar Creek and New Palestine Elementary Schools for all day school children and afternoon kindergarten children.  We also provide care during the school year when school is closed.

Hours of Operation

Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m to 6:00 p.m. 

Closed: Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the Friday that follows, December 24th, 25th, and 26th, New Year's Eve and Day. Any additional days are posted 30 days in advance.

Preschool & Prekindergarten

Preschool Hours:

Tuesday and Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. & 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Prekindergarten Hours:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. & 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Background of Celebrations

Celebrations opened their doors November 15, 2000 with 12 children.  We now serve approximately 120 children weekly.  We operate a full time childcare program for children 6 weeks to 12 years old.  We started with 4 staff members and now have an energetic staff of 24 full and part time employees.  Most of our staff are parents of children who attend the childcare and preschool here.  

Schedule of our day:

6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Breakfast

9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. A.M. Snack

8:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Structured Class and Bible Time

11:15 a.m. & 11:45 a.m. Lunch

12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Nap and quiet time

3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. P.M. Snack

3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Free Choice Play and parent pick up

Summer Camp Program

We offer a summer camp program for children entering into kindergarten through entering 6th grade in the Fall.  We break our groups into 3 age groups of K-1st, 2-3rd, and 4th -6th graders.  We hire energetic staff to entertain these young ones.  We keep them busy throughout the summer with several field trips.  These include: movies, swimming, parks, and many, many more.  Call us for more information on this fun summer program!
