How do I become a member?
We offer membership classes here at the church on a regular basis. In our membership classes, led by Rev. Mark Wesler (Senior Pastor) you can learn about Methodism, how to get involved in the church, our church in particular, and meet new people. Call the church office at (317) 861-4390 to find out more information on class dates and times.
How do I get involved in the church?
At NPUMC, we offer many activities for the whole family. We have Sunday School classes, Bible Studies, Recreation/Fitness Classes, Open Gym Activities, Fellowship Dinners, Church Outings, Church Mission Trips, and so much more. Check out our website events, our Facebook page, the weekly bulletin, and the monthly newsletter, or call the church office at (317) 861-4390.
How do I get myself and/or my children baptized?
The process of baptism is very simple. You do not have to be a member to get baptized, but we would encourage you to consider becoming a member at some point. Contact the church office and let us know that you are interested. We will discuss possible date options for you. For children, we like to have some pictures emailed to the church office, so they can be displayed on the big screen during the baptism. You can choose to be baptized during any worship service. You will receive a certificate from the church office to recognize your commitment.
How do I submit a prayer request?
You can submit prayer requests in the Sunday offering plate. We will take your prayer request and pass it along to our mailing list of faithful folks that have volunteered to pray for these requests. You can get added to the volunteer prayer list by contacting the church office as well.
How do I get the monthly newsletter and other materials from the church emailed to me?
Just let us know and we would be happy to add you to our distribution list.
What if I don't email? How can I get the newsletter?
We print several newsletters and place them outside the Sanctuary for those who do not receive email.
If preferred, we can also mail a copy to your home.
