Register Online at https://registration.upward.org/UPW69342 Form and Registration Fee may be dropped off at the church office on Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. or on an evaluation night.

Registration Information:

The registration cost per a child for basketball or cheerleading is $99. Deadline is October 24, 2019.

Evaluations and Orientations:

Everyone must attend one basketball evaluation or cheerleading orientation. They will take place at the New Palestine United Methodist Church Gym.

K/5-2nd Grade Basketball & Cheerleaders - Wednesday, 10/16 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

3rd - 6th Grade Basketball & Cheerleaders - Thursday, 10/17 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Makeup evaluation dates: Wednesday, 10/23 & Thursday, 10/24 - All Grades Basketball and Cheer

1st Game - Saturday, January 11, 2020

Come purchase a variety of homemade specialties for just $6.50 per pound. In addition, hot beverages, holiday crafts, and gifts will be on sale. Sant will be attending our Cookie Walk from 9L00 AM - 10:30 AM. So bring your cameras for free pictures with Santa!

Additionally, we are in need of your best homemade cookies to sell. The money raised from our events goes to support the UMW’s missions, the focuses on women and children’s needs locally, nationally, and internationally.

Mission Guatemala

Pastor Anthony will be leading a mission team to serve alongside the great staff of Mission Guatemala from July 25-August 2, 2020.     Mission Guatemala was started by Rev. Tom Heaton, an Indiana UMC    pastor, in the fall of 2008. It is a vital, faith-based, non-profit organization with a mission to help meet the basic needs and improve the quality of life of           under-served and impoverished Guatemalan peoples through health, education and nutrition initiatives, and missionary service. We are hoping to have 5-6      people from our church join with Pastor Anthony on this life-changing service opportunity. ANNUAL CHURCH CHARGE CONFERENCE

Come join us on Sunday, October 13, at 3:00pm in our sanctuary for our annual Charge Conference with our Conference Superintendent. Charge Conference is the basic governing body of each United Methodist local church and is composed of all members of the church council (and often includes additional members of the local church). The charge conference typically meets on an annual basis to direct the work of the local church, to give general oversight to the Church Council, to review and evaluate the mission and ministry of the local church, to set the pastoral compensation, to elect the members of the administrative leadership structure, and to recommend candidates for ordained ministry.

Pack Away Hunger

Do you want to make a difference in the world? Here are two practical, hands-on, and local opportunities for you to help transform the world: On Sunday, September 22, we will be partnering with Pack Away Hunger to help feed the hungry!

        Sunday, September 22, our church will be partnering with all 110 UMC churches of the Central District to pack 30,000 meals for the hungry. We will gather at Epworth United Methodist Church (6450 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis) for this ministry event. This packing event is also a celebration event as we welcome Dr. Aleze Fulbright as our new Conference Superintendent of the Central District. There will be two different packing shifts (3:00pm-4:15pm and 4:45-6:00pm) for this event. Bishop Julius  Trimble, will share a short inspirational message between the two packing shifts (4:15pm-4:45pm). It is time again for our annual Missions Fundraiser, "94 Days Until Christmas Craft & Vendor Fair" on Saturday, September 21st.  All booth proceeds help the New Palestine United Methodist Women support our mission programs. Ask us what they are and we would be happy to share both our local and global missions. 

Food is available all day with our favorite Menu items including Treva’s Famous Cinnamon Rolls. Lunch menu items including chili starts at 11:30 AM.

UMM Annual Golf Outing

The UMM annual golf outing will be August 10th at Arrowhead Golf Course at 3974 Club House Drive Greenfield IN. Cost will be $50 per golfer and will include lunch and prizes. It will be a Florida scramble format with tee time at 8:00 a.m. Check in starts at 7 a.m. We need hole sponsors which is only $50 as well and a sponsor will have a handsome sign with their name on it.

2019 HABITAT FOR  HUMANITY BUILD

 There are still several volunteers needed to install windows, doors, and tyvek on Thursday, August 8th.  The signup sheet is in the narthex with instructions on how to register on line.  There are additional dates now open for less strenuous tasks - Friday, 8/2 - Framing : Roof Decking, Wednesday, 8/7 - Exterior Trim and Siding, Friday, 8/9 - Exterior Trim and Siding.  For these days you can signup at http://volunteergreenfield.indyhabitat.volunteerhub.com/ Please call Denny Woods with any questions (317)730-3798

 We are so excited that our church is once again participating in the Habitat for Humanity Build in Greenfield.  Want to be a part but unable to help with the construction?  We will be feeding the workers lunch at the job site on Thursday, August 8th.  A sign-up sheet for food donations and servers will be located in the Narthex next to the sign up for construction workers.  Monetary donations to help offset the expenses may also be made.  Just make a check to NPUMC with Habitat Lunch on the memo line.  Questions?  Call or text Vicki Kuebler @ 317-418-8586.
